Sackcloth & Ashes donates a blanket to our local homeless shelter for every blanket we, and effectively you purchase. Their founder, Bob Dalton, started this mission when his mother became homeless in 2013. He asked local shelters what they needed most and they all said blankets. Sackcloth & Ashes’ goal is to donate one million blankets to homeless shelters by their 10 year anniversary, which occurs on June 1, 2024. They support grassroots organizations that help the homeless and donate sustainably made blankets from recycled materials, produced in a water, dye, and chemical-free process.
